I’m not in the habit of following strangers | #LAPLoveNotes #Romance #MenOfDistinction #MostEligibleBachelor

Hello folks! Welcome to another #LoveNotes post. Today, I'm sharing a snippet (unedited) from a Work In Progress, a billionaire romance - the sequel to Most Eligible Bachelor . Let me know what you think! Abrafi looked up and encountered a sharply dressed man. Early-twenties. Probably fresh out of university. He had a smoothness that reminded her of a sales man. “Please come with me,” he said and turned. “Who are you, and where are you taking me?” she asked. “I’m not in the habit of following strangers to unknown places.” “Oh, I’m sorry,” he said, sounding slightly irritated and not convincingly apologetic about his lapse in social etiquette. “I’m Joojo Kwarshie.  I’m taking you upstairs.” The boarding gates where upstairs, so this had to be good news. Right? “Where exactly?” “Look, all I know is your boss called mine, and now  my   boss  has  summoned you. I’m not in the habit of questioning his orders.” Summoned? She frowned....

Hi and welcome to another sexy snippet. I took a break while preparing for the release of Forest Girl. Now it's out and I can share a few more sexy snippets to whet your appetite.  Today's snippet highlights Michael's dilemma as indicated in paragraph 2 of the blurb (yea, I got all academic - hehe). This piece and what follows in the scene set the tone for my hero's conflict. Enjoy 💕

Hello friends, and welcome back to Sexy Snippets. Today, I'm sharing a snippet in honour of Mother's Day! So it's clearly not going to be a 'sexy' piece, but I thought it was cute. This snippet comes from my soon-to-be-published (unedited) book,  Expecting Ty's Baby. A scene between the heroine, Patricia and her mother. Here you go. Enjoy 💗 And Happy Mother's Day!

She'd dance for him any day #SexySnippet by @EmpiBaryeh

Hi folks! Today, I'm taking a break from Forest Girl to share a few lines from the (possible) book 2, which is currently titled City Girl (believe me, I know), a very sweet romance set in 1990s Ghana. Just a bit if background. This scene takes place between my hero and heroine at a festival in their village. I always enjoy the first signs of awareness between H and H. Anyway, here goes (PS. this is still a VERY rough first draft): “Will you be dancing adowa today?” he asked.   Mansa had been planning on skipping the dance, yet she found herself nodding. How could she not when he spoke with such gentleness? She’d be willing to dance for him any day.   He leaned forward and spoke in a low tone. “I was going to leave early, but if you promise to invite me to dance with you, I’ll stay.”   Her eyes darted back to meet his intense stare, and her heart stutter-stepped as a shivering sensation galloped up her spine.  I hope you enjoyed this snippet. His searing kiss scorched her... #SexySnippet from Most Eligible Bachelor #ValentineRomance

Happy Sunday! It's the month of love, so I decided that for the rest of the month, I'd share snippets from my debut novel,  Most Eligible Bachelor , a romance kindled on Valentine's Day. Today's snippet follows directly from  last week's snippet . His searing kiss was nothing she could have imagined. It scorched her, inside and out. A soft moan escaped her throat before she could stop it. She melted into him, curling her fingers around his nape. When he pulled away, her breath came in fast, shallow bursts. In stunned reflex, her fingers came to her lips, which felt swollen, having not been used for this purpose in a while. Weak-kneed and aroused, she sensed she only remained standing because of his strong arms around her. Happy Sunday! It's the month of love, so I decided that for the rest of the month, I'd share snippets from my debut novel,  Most Eligible Bachelor , a romance kindled on Valentine's Day. Today's snippet follows directly from  last week's snippet . He smiled, really smiled, not the movie star grins he’d been flashing earlier. His gaze emitted pure heat wrapped around a hint of sadness. What in the world could make a man with his looks and popularity melancholic? Surely Lord McKenzie didn’t have the same kinds of problems as mere mortals. His fingers feathered her cheek, sending another wave of tremors through her. When his hand reached her chin, he lifted her face. Her mind barely registered what was happening before the space between them vanished. If you enjoyed this snippet, get to know my hero more.
