Color of Love #BlogHop - @EmpiBaryeh @KiruTaye @NanaPrah
AND it's a go! The COLOR OF LOVE Blog Hop is being hosted by Empi Baryeh (me), Kiru Taye, and Nana Prah, from today until Monday (25th November). That's five whole days of discovering new books and new authors and winning prizes.
So here's the deal. You've got 5 days to hit 38 blogs, each featuring an interracial and multicultural romance book that you may not have read yet! As with all hops, you will have the chance to win various prizes on each site you visit as well as our grand prizes:

If you love romance (of course, you do) then you probably love Valentine Themed stories. I know we're in November, but it's Thanksgiving month and I'm thankful for Valentine :-), so I am featuring my valentine season novel, MOST ELIGIBLE BACHELOR.
MOST ELIGIBLE BACHELOR (Men of Distinction, #1)
Magazine columnist Chantelle Sah doesn’t celebrate Valentine’s Day—not since her fiancé’s betrayal three years ago—and after botching her first assignment as a feature writer, she’s more than willing to put in a hard day’s work this Valentine’s Day; even if it means going on a date with gorgeous construction Tycoon, Lord McKenzie, and opening herself to an onslaught of all things love.
When Lord—his given name, not a title—sets his sights on Chantelle, it isn’t just work he has on his mind. But even he couldn’t have predicted the magnetic attraction between them when they meet, nor the evening ending with more than an interview. Now he has to convince Chantelle that their one-night stand wasn’t a mistake. Can he win her love without revealing a secret from their night of passion, which could prove fatal for both their hearts?
I'm supposed to also tell you why I write Most Eligible Bachelor. Well...it started as a one chapter (one scene, really) story taking place on Valentine's day and ending with a kiss. But, as most authors will tell you, once Lord and Chantelle were on the page, they took over and fell in love with them. To date, they are two of the most fun characters I've written and from time to time, I find myself going back to read certain scenes.
I'm giving away a $10 Amazon gift card to one lucky commenter (including those who enter the rafflecopter - even if they don't comment), but you know I love hearing from you, so please don't leave without saying hi.
How to enter: What's the last IR/MC romance you read? What did you like/love about it?
Winners will be announced on Saturday 23rd November, 2013.

Hi Empi, kudos for all the hard work in putting together an amazing blog hop.
ReplyDeleteMost Eligible Bachelor is on my TBR list for sure, and I'll let you know when I do.
I recently read DIRTY KISS, the first in Rhys Ford's Cole McGinniss Mysteries series. I liked the insight into Korean culture, and how the characters' racial and sexual identities affected the mystery and their relationship.
ReplyDeleteYou asked: What’s the last IR/MC romance you read? What did you like/love about it?
ReplyDeleteI read Keys to Heaven and Sympathy for the Devil by Shyla Colt. I love the series which surprised me. I was quite taken by how she portrayed Heaven and Hell as backgrounds for a love story between Lucifer and the angel Layla which produced a child named Heavenleigh. Lots of twist and turns which I love! Can't wait for the next book in the series.

I think it's your best book yet and you need to hurry up with the next book in the series. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm working on it (don't tell Lord, but I think his cousin Adonis might be hotter). I will be posting updates after my NaNo novel
ReplyDeleteThanks, Nikki. I just stopped by your blog :-)
ReplyDeleteParanormal isn't my usual genre to read, but I just might try Shyla Colt's novels you've mentioned. heaven and hell as a background to a story sounds intriguing
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by Trix. Learning new cultures in a story is usually interesting. It gives it a new flavour :-).
ReplyDeleteThanks, Stella. I hope you enjoy reading MEB as much as I enjoyed writing it ;-)
ReplyDeleteplease don't pee in your pants ;p
ReplyDeleteThank you for this lovely giveaway hop!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read the IR paranormal romance that is waiting on my TBR pile.
